The BKs disbanded in the early 70's...
It wasn't until the early 80's that we got back together for a reunion or two...
The crowds were overwhelming...
Literally thousands of people showed up...but the $$$ didn't go down right for some of us...
so it wasn't until New Years Eve at "The Centroplex"
in Baton Rouge in 89-90 that the band did a decent recording...
The "Nine Lives" CD is probably the best "live" recording ever by the BKs...
"Doc" Vernon and I came up with the plan to produce it
and he did a great job mixing it in his studio in New Orleans...
I've digitally re-mastered my performances of "Can't Turn U Loose" .... "
I've Been Loving You Too Long" and "Shake"...
Also included are songs from "Louisiana Country Soul"....
"Louisiana Swamp Boogie Blues"....and"Walking The Dog"...
We had some very soulful times with great players and singers....So please enjoy!!....................
